Why wasn't my reservation approved?
D.C. Bar Communities Events

Reservation requests may not be approved for a variety of reasons, including:
• Date Conflict: The requested program date is already booked (all reservations are first come, first reserved).
• Blackout/Holiday Conflict: The chosen date falls on a holiday or designated blackout date.
• Short Notice: The reservation was submitted with less than 4 weeks’ lead time, which may not allow enough time to properly plan and promote the program. While 6 weeks is preferred, flexibility depends on individual circumstances.
• Duplicate Entry: The reservation duplicates an existing submission already entered in the Communities Planning Portal by the same organizer.
• Logistics Unresolved: The organizer has been unresponsive when contacted to discuss program logistics, especially in cases involving in-person events.
